Sinder’s night out.

SinderLos Angeles, CA – West Hollywood got a real treat last Friday night when a scorching new band called Sinder took the Troubadour stage and proceeded to burn the house down. According to reports about this awesome first performance, vocalist Mike Young and his bandmates Jason, Chris and Tony all left a packed house breathless after their highly anticipated, official first night out. I’m kicking myself really hard right now for missing this show.

SinderSinder have been dutifully preparing for war at local parties and even YMCA gigs, so when Tarrie B. of My Ruin pulled a few strings and secured a decent time slot on the Troubadour bill; the Sinder boys couldn’t have been more grateful …or ready to do battle. The band pounded out 6 brutal, heavy-hitters: ‘Feign‘, ‘Wither‘, ‘Peaks‘, ‘Sift‘, ‘Who Am I‘, and ‘Mindless Slave‘, all of which got the adrenaline pumping. They even joined members of My Ruin and Hotwire for an explosive cover of ‘My War’ by veteran, punk rockers Black Flag.

Apparently, everyone in the band was just as pleased with their show as the audience was. Gauged by the response from the supportive crowd, Sinder’s first live performance for Hollywood made enough of an impression on everyone that they won’t soon forget it.

SinderAhhhh, the sweet smell of fresh blood and success.
