Remember how Metallica’s ‘Ride the Lightning‘ started off with that cool acoustic piece? Well..Wiredshut, Shawn Bier (Throat), Glen Telford (Guitar), White Mike (Keyboards/Samples), Steve Moore (Drums), Scott Kiyoshi Matsuda (Bass), takes it a step further with ‘Militant Government’, the first track on the four-song demo. It’s a lot longer than Metallica, sounds a lot better, and has news briefs of different newscasters reporting about wars.Hardcore double drum beats, which I can’t get enough of, catchy riffs, killer keyboard effects, and commanding vocals.
You can tell these boys have been listening to the classics, Pantera, Metallica (older Metallica), Fear Factory, and Carcass to name a few. If you are a fan of the heavier side of metal, definitely checkout Wiredshut (http://www.wiredshut.com)
There’s only one way to listen to this CD, as loud as the stereo can go! There’s no way I could pick a favorite song off this disc, because they all are killer tunes.
