David Amram, Southern Stories. David is a musician of many talents. He plays six or more instruments from piano to flutes. Song two; Dreams of New Orleans, to me, sounds quite similar to Glenn Frey’s Smuggler’s Blues, but with a bit more of a country flavor. Then there’s Once You’ve Been To Texas. In this number I could almost hear Sons Of The Pioneers. That took me a few years. I really enjoyed the instrumental American Indian style song ‘Song for The Everglades’. Wonderful number.
