A Tribute To Jerry Garcia
According to ‘Grateful Dead Productions’, this is the very first such tribute to the legendary Jerry Garcia. Phil Salazar brought together a host of fantastic West Coast musicians for this project. I’m sure many of your remember John McEuen. His was the founding member of the sixties group, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. John and Phil, along with many more extraordinary musicians transformed many of Jerry Garcia’s songs (most co-written by Hunter) into a unique country/jazz/bluegrass fest. Jerry Garcia would have really enjoyed what these talented musicians have done.
