Inspired by the British Invasion of the sixties and New Wave of the 80’s is what their story reads. They have, indeed, mixed these sounds together and very successfully. They have, also, done an excellent cover of Eleanor Rigby. Every song, on their “Insides” CD, is good and it is not often one can say that about a release. If you like The Beatles and/or 80’s New Wave you will like Bill Popp And The Tapes. If not, you don’t know what you’re missing. Give them listen.
